- What CNC software is pre-installed?
- PROTON ships with open-source LinuxCNC software and NativeCAM pre-installed and configured for Hostmot2 motion control. Integration with your specific machine parameters remains your responsibility or your integrator's.
- What documentation should I upload with my order?
- Upload schematics, connector photos, machine model documentation, or wiring diagrams. The more complete your documentation, the more accurately we can design your custom front panel.
- How does the custom front panel work?
- We design the front panel at order time to match your machine's wiring conventions. You connect existing harnesses directly — no adapters or re-pinning required when documentation is complete.
- When is my order confirmed?
- After you pay via Revolut, we review your order and documentation within 24 hours. You receive email confirmation of acceptance or notification of any issues.
- How is shipping calculated?
- DHL Express shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and included in the total payment. Import duties or taxes in the destination country are the buyer's responsibility.
- What does the warranty cover?
- 24-month hardware warranty against manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect installation or wiring, software configuration errors, or modifications by the buyer or third parties.
- Can you cancel my order after payment?
- We may cancel and fully refund if documentation is insufficient, the machine is incompatible after review, or we cannot fulfil the order for technical reasons. Refunds are issued within 5 business days.
- Who is responsible for software integration?
- The buyer or appointed integrator is responsible for machine configuration, motion tuning, PLC interfacing, and commissioning. We supply assembled and tested hardware; on-site integration support is not included unless agreed separately in writing.
